The third tourney was played through April-May 2000, and had 24 teams, of which Andorra was the new entry, Austria's manager had converted to Finland and South Africa also had left us. The winner was Germany, after eliminating Sweden (QF, 10-2), USA (SF, 5-4 aet) and Canada (4-2) in the WC final.
